This weekend is the annual Shavathon hosted by CANSA in support of those who have fought or are fighting the battle against Cancer. To show support for this worthy cause Club Newlands will be hosting a Shavathon in the Castle Lawns @ Club Newlands ahead of Saturday’s clash with the Highlanders.

Fans will be given the chance to either shave their hair or have it spray-painted to show solidarity with the many South Africans who are living with this disease.

If supporters at Newlands would like to get behind this worthy cause and get involved in the Shavathon, they can join Club Newlands at the Castle Lawns from 14h00 on Saturday when the Shavathon volunteers will be setup and be ready to shave and spray. Kick-off is at 17h05.
